When Belimo Americas moved into their new energy efficient headquarters in Danbury, Connecticut they wanted to throw a grand opening corporate party for their employees. What better space to celebrate than their new warehouse – and what better team to transform the space than X-Quisite Flowers & Events! We provided event décor, lighting, sound, staging – and the DJ. The fun didn’t stop there: the X-Quisite Team came back for a second client party in the manufacturing facility for a formal gala.
Watch the time lapse video of the X-Quisite Team setting up the sparkling party:
The gem that shined the brightest for this bejeweled Bat Mitzvah at the Hilton Pearl River was no doubt the Bat Mitzvah girl herself, Julia! With a sparkling personality and a bright shining smile, she had her dream party come together with her favorite colors purple and turquoise. The logo, placed throughout the event, was a stunning silhouette with the word Jules splashed across it in the color of the event – along with the quote of the evening, “she leaves a little sparkle wherever she goes.”
Featuring glitzy décor, custom lighting, a sparkling ceiling over the dance floor and a new buffet trend, this party was cutting edge and will be hard to forget! Read the rest of this entry »
Event designer Diane Amante and the X-Quisite Flowers & Events team were tasked with transforming the Westchester Country Club’s classically elegant ballroom into an intimate lounge for a Happy Everything Party! This new trend asks, who needs to count the years when you can celebrate a life full of accomplishments? These all-out celebrations are great events to design – mixing the intimacy of a cocktail party with the scale of a big birthday bash!
In the 25 years that X-Quisite Flowers & Events has been making our Westchester clients’ event design visions a reality, we have never been given such a short timeline to produce an event as intricate and creative as with this Bamboo Oasis Garden Wedding held at Brae Burn Country Club in 2012.
From kickoff to touchdown, Jason’s football themed Bar Mitzvah at Florentine Gardens scored big cool points for perfect execution. This red and blue themed event, in New York Giants colors, brought a fresh take on a classic idea with original decor and lighting design.
When Weiyi and Jason talked about their dream wedding, they spoke of exchanging vows in a beautiful, magical forest, subtly reminiscent of the fantasy art themes found in Dungeons & Dragons, the game that first brought them together when they met at a sci-fi convention years earlier. Diane admits, upon originally hearing about their vision, she had a brief “oh my goodness” moment, and wondered how it could be done. But, that feeling was gone as quickly as it had come, and she decided, as usual, that she was definitely up for the challenge.
“It was impossible not to be inspired by Weiyi and Jason, because they were so excited about their wedding, and so clear in their vision of what their perfect day would look like. I’m always passionate about my work, but their enthusiasm really motivated me to create an absolutely picture-perfect event for them.”
Neon was the theme of the night, from the chair covers and tablecloths, to the glowing LED lounge furniture in the club area. The party theme was launched with Jasper’s Bar Mitzvah logo featuring his name in glowing neon green and blue lights.
No detail was spared for this fluorescent fest! Guests left their well wishes for the man of the night by signing a neon blue beanbag chair that was personalized with a screen printed logo – a great memento for Jasper to remember his party.
